Once you set it up, **payments will be charged automatically and you won’t have to worry about anything else**. ### **How the direct debit works** - We will calculate how much you pay **according to your current** [tariff for using Mergado services](https://www.mergado.com/pricing). - The payment will be sent automatically through the **secure gateway of GoPay or Stripe**, which meets the highest international level of data security in the financial sector. - The direct debit **stores information about the credit card** from which the payment is made. ### **How to set up the direct debit** - You can **set it up** the in your [account settings](https://accounts.mergado.com/), under the *Payment settings* **tab**. - Choose whether the payment will be processed via the **GoPay or Stripe payment gateway**. - Select the **billing period** – monthly or yearly – and save the settings. - We’ll **notify you by email** once the setup is complete. - You can also view the order status in the **invoice overview** in the Mergado application.
