Kaufland Global Marketplace belongs to the Schwarz Group and is one of the fastest-growing online marketplaces in Germany. In 2023, the Kaufland marketplace expanded to the Slovak (Kaufland.sk) and Czech (Kaufland.cz) markets. Today, it operates in a total of seven European countries. On the German platform Kaufland.de, you can find more than 45 million products across 6,400+ categories, offered by over 13,000 sellers. The platform reaches around 139 million potential online customers.

WHO CAN ADVERTISE ON KAUFLAND MARKETPLACE
Thanks to the expansion of Kaufland.de into other European markets (Czech, Slovak, Polish, Austrian, French, and Italian), a single registration is enough to advertise across all seven marketplaces. If you go for advertising on German Kaufland.de, you must have German customer support (at least in writing), and their online store must be translated into German. The same applies to the Czech and Slovak markets. Only goods with valid EAN codes can be sold here.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SELL USED GOODS?
Yes, used goods can also be sold on Kaufland. The state of the item needs to be defined in the condition/Zustand element. It takes values 100 (new), 200 (used — like new), 300 (used — very good), 400 (used — good) and 500 (used — acceptable).
The customer is informed about the status of the goods in the “Status” section under the “Add to Cart” icon.

The product and inventory feed can be uploaded in two ways:
- Manual import by uploading a CSV file
- Automatic import by uploading the CSV feed URL
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SEND PRODUCT DATA VIA API?
Yes, in addition to the feed, it is possible to connect to Kaufland via API through our Mergado Marketplaces extension.
