From July 15, 2019, Google offers the ability to display ads from standard campaigns on YouTube and Google Discover channels. This allows you to reach users who use these platforms.

Millions of users use Google Discover and YouTube

A lot has already been written about YouTube’s advertising benefits – but there are other ways to reach potential customers. More than 800 million users used Google Discover service last year.

Advertising on Google Discover and YouTube starts automatically

Advertising on another channel where the user can find your merchandise and complete the purchase is always useful. Especially when it doesn’t cost you a lot of effort — from July 15th, Google Shopping campaigns are going to be enabled automatically for campaigns running for search partner sites. Ads on these channels are going to be advertised at the Google Display Network.

If you do not want to advertise on these platforms, cancel it

Don’t want to use displaying the ad on YouTube and Google Discover? You will be able to cancel it from June 17th.

Instructions:

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Click the Campaigns tab, then click the Standard Shopping campaign you want to opt out of YouTube and Google Discover.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Under “Networks” click Edit.
  5. Uncheck the box next to “YouTube and Google Discover on Display Network” to disable ads from this campaign to appear on YouTube and Google Discover.
  6. Click Save.

Use as many channels as possible to reach more customers. In addition, Google Discover is new and promises further improvements and more traffic. Try it on and write us what you think about it.
